Repairs

Accent Jewelers uses special care in the handling and setting of gemstones but cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur in such processes. Further, we cannot be responsible for damage attributable to unstable enhancement processes, for pressure or heat-sensitive stones or stones with fractures as there is an inherent risk in handling and setting them. We recommend customers have their jewelry insured.

Accent Jewelers is happy to clean and check any jewelry a customer brings in regardless of where they purchased it, free of charge. We may limit the number of times available for such cleanings based on the time available considering other store demands. There are inherent qualities in jewelry that cannot be detected by visual inspection alone such as chlorine damage, poor casting, etc. Therefore, our inspections do not come with any guarantee that an item will not break or gems will not come out.

All repairs are guaranteed for six (6) months excluding unreasonable wear or abuse or other item-specific caveats communicated to the customer at the time of the repair. We are not responsible for any repair left more than 90 days after completion of the intended repair task. Most white gold is rhodium-plated, which is not a permanent treatment. Accent Jewelers makes every effort to perform repairs onsite. However, the complexity and/or time required for the completion of some repairs may require us to utilize contracted local jewelers, and items may need to be taken off site for repair as needed. Accent Jewelers maintains adequate insurance to cover any losses that may be incurred during such transport.
