Yes, we purchase sterling silver, which is 92.5% silver. The items we purchase will typically have the word “sterling” or the number “925” engraved on them. We do not purchase plated silver items. Silver plating does contain silver. However, it is applied in a layer over a non-silver base metal similar to applying fingernail polish and is very difficult to extract.

Yes, we purchase coins with silver or gold content, or that have collector value. These include dimes, quarters, half-dollars and dollar coins dated 1964 or older (before 1964), U.S. Kennedy half dollar coins minted from 1965-1969 and various proof sets and commemoratives. If you aren’t sure if it is something we buy, just give us a call or stop by. We are always happy to evaluate your items and there is never a charge for an evaluation or information.

It really depends on the item. While many of the items we purchase are broken down for the metal to be refined and reused, we also repair and refurbish some items for resale in-store, online or to other retail jewelry stores. We also work with several manufacturers to reuse materials from items we purchase to create beautiful, new, sustainable creations.

We use the same evaluation process for all items whether we are purchasing them or providing a loan, and the choice to sell the item(s) to us or take out a loan is always 100% yours to make. All loans are confidential, and there is never a credit check. Our loans are revolving 30-day loans. We charge a percentage of the loan amount for each 30-day period. Need more time? Just pay the service fee and get another 30 days. Just need a loan for a couple of days? There is never an early termination fee. Your items are kept onsite and secure until you are ready to pick them up.

We are located at 5050 Poplar Avenue, Ste. 127 in Memphis, Tennessee. We are in the lobby of the iBank Tower, just across from Independent Bank. iBank Tower is located next to the Clark Tower in East Memphis. iBank Tower (formerly White Station Tower) is the smaller of the two high-rise buildings and has a Starbucks in the parking lot.
